GMA 7’s KARELASYON is Dark, Real And Engaging

GMA 7’s TV show KARELASYON can be the local counterpart of the British BLACK MIRROR. While Black Mirror tells us stories of a dystopian future and centers on technology and human interaction or the lack of it, Karelasyon is about the dystopian present about love and tragedy.

There are some questionable acting skills on some episodes but generally, specially with the presence of legit actors, the said anthology series is an underrated beauty.

The cinematography can rival the indie film phenomenon. And most of its stories are better than some indie and mainstream movies and TV shows. Of course, not all episodes are gold. But in general — they are dark, real and engaging.
