BAKA BUKAS is a movie without a story. Just some lame expositions. Louise delos Reyes is beautiful and can act. But the story doesn’t give her any chance to show those factors. Jasmine Curtis-Smith is beautiful too but she can’t act. It seems her performance came from Hollywood constipated school of acting.
The film’s supposedly main conflict is mainly self-indulgent and doesn’t connect to audience.
The camera works tried to project an indie feel. But it felt conscious and forced. Mainly because of flat storytelling and directing.
Nothing good to say about this movie. Boring AF!
