SPOTLIGHT Feels Longer Than Its Actual Running Time

The movie SPOTLIGHT feels longer than its actual running time because it is just a destination to point B from point A. While the message is very clear and agreeable, there’s none a single twist or uncomfortable surprise. Only unchallenged expositions.

I couldn’t care less if it was based on a true story. And it has a good intention. Because it is what it is — just a movie of intent.
