The world will end not with scorching heat from the sun or collision with other planets. Or with freezing weather that will make no life possible.
The world will end with one’s cold heart to others. The absence of healthy malice. The regularity of aloneness. The existence where hugs and secret stares will be considered illegal sexual exploitation. When people are more conscious to be politically correct and safe rather than to be honest with expression of emotions.
The world will end because we will be prioritizing what’s right more than what will make us happy. The world will end because we can no longer breath. Not with intoxicating pollution of the earth. But with suffocating righteousness of the world.
The end of humanity is not the deterioration of the physical. But with the sunset we self-imposed.
